FID Pharmazie at the Bibliothekskongress 2025

At this year’s Bibliothekskongress in Bremen (24-27 June), we were represented with the contribution “Drug Overviews: Ein innovativer Rechercheservice mit automatisch extrahierten Wirkstoffinformationen“. The Drug Overviews tool, developed in the FID Pharmazie, generates information overviews on a searched drug substance in network form and structured lists. The information is currently extracted automatically from around 38 million MEDLINE articles using text mining methods. The presentation focused on the development of suitable user interfaces with user studies and automated extraction pipelines, as well as the reusability of the developed methods.
