Open Access Transformation of “Die Pharmazie”

The Specialised Information Service Pharmacy actively promotes Open Access Publishing and offers consulting and support services in this area. Contacts to scientific societies, editors and publishers are used to advance the Open Access Transformation of subscription journals.

A success of these activities can be reported: The scientific journal „Die Pharmazie – An International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences“ of the Avoxa – Mediengruppe Deutscher Apotheker GmbH turned into a full Open Access journal. Previously, issues of the current 12 months were only available by subscription. “Die Pharmazie” was established 1946, editors-in-chief are Professor Theodor Dingermann and Professor Sandra Klein.

The publisher has also granted the necessary rights for the digitisation of the journal by the Specialised Information Service Pharmacy (volumes 1946-2020).
