DPhG Annual Meeting 2022: Joint information booth of FID and NFDI4Chem

This year’s Annual Meeting of the Deutsche Pharmazeutische Gesellschaft (DPhG) took place in Marburg from September 13th to 16th. Together with NFDI4Chem, the FID Pharmazie was represented with an information booth. At this, interested parties had the opportunity to get to know PubPharm with its innovative search tools and the electronic laboratory journal Chemotion via live demos. Moreover, information about the activities of NFDI4Chem and the FID Pharmazie was offered.

In addition, participants of the DPhG Annual Meeting had the opportunity to learn more about the PubPharm content and functions, as well as about the new tools Narrative Service and Drug Overviews in one of two workshops. The Narrative Service enables a precise and structured literature search allowing users to specify the relationships between different pharmaceutical concepts (including active ingredients, dosage forms, plant families, targets, and laboratory methods). The Drug Overviews, as an extension of the Narrative Service, offers structured substance overviews that contain data from ChEMBL on the one hand and from the literature on the other hand, including information on the indication, dosage forms, laboratory methods and targets.
