109. Deutscher Bibliothekartag: Presentations of the SIS Pharmacy

The Specialised Information Service Pharmacy (SIS Pharmacy, Fachinformationsdienst Pharmazie) participates in the 109. Deutschen Bibliothekartag from 16.06. to 18.06.2021 with a virtual presentation and a lecture on-site in Bremen.

The close cooperation between the University Library and the Institute for Information Systems at Technische Universität Braunschweig results in innovative search tools for PubPharm, which is the central service of the SIS Pharmacy. The presentation Der Fachinformationsdienst Pharmazie – Von informationswissenschaftlicher Forschung zum stabilen innovativen Recherchedienst outlined the development of such a service – from the idea to basic research and prototypes to the stable service. A prototype that offers a precise and variable-structured search for targeted lines of arguments in scientific literature was introduced in the virtual presentation Narrativer Informationszugriff für die präzise und strukturierte Literatursuche .

Both presentations were recorded and will be available in the TIB Hannover archive from autumn.
