Scientific Advisory Board Meeting 2021
This year’s advisory board meeting took place virtually on July 9th. The advisory board of the SIS Pharmacy includes professors from the pharmaceutical disciplines and computer science. It accompanies and supports the SIS Pharmacy with its scientific expertise.
At this meeting, the activities in the individual work areas of the SIS Pharmacy were summarized, and the plans for future development were discussed. For example, we presented the new PubPharm version, content expansions (e.g. clinical trials from the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform of the WHO), and the development of a pharmacy-specific repository. In addition, the current research activities at the Institute for Information Systems were reported. These resulted, for example, in the interactive Drug-Disease-Networks, which were recently integrated into PubPharm.
