This year, we welcomed the scientific advisory board of the FID Pharmazie in Braunschweig on 21 November 2025. The advisory board consists of several professors from various pharmaceutical disciplines and computer sciences from all over Germany. This year’s meeting focused on the development in the fourth funding phase, which started in January 2025. Together with the advisory board members, we discussed the most important milestones, and we already planned for the application within FIDplus.<\/p>\n
Another focus was on technical innovations. In addition to the suggestion function<\/a> for similar articles and similar clinical studies, the citation service<\/a> has also been integrated into PubPharm. Furthermore, the Narrative Service has been expanded to include the new General Overviews<\/a> tool. In just a few weeks, the Pattern Discovery will follow as another tool that significantly simplifies exploratory research. At the same time, we are working on an AI tool that will help users select the appropriate PubPharm service in the future.<\/p>\n In addition, the Institute for Information Systems<\/a> provided insights into its current research work<\/a>, which was most recently presented at ISWC 2025 in Nara, Japan.<\/p>\n All in all, the meeting offered a special opportunity to gather valuable feedback, exchange experiences and jointly shape the future of FID Pharmazie.<\/p>\n
