{"id":3506,"date":"2022-12-16T09:04:05","date_gmt":"2022-12-16T08:04:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.tu-braunschweig.de\/pubpharm\/?p=3506"},"modified":"2022-12-16T09:04:05","modified_gmt":"2022-12-16T08:04:05","slug":"online-event-by-rki-zb-med-and-sis-pharmacy-on-long-covid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.pubpharm.de\/index.php\/en\/2022\/12\/16\/online-event-by-rki-zb-med-and-sis-pharmacy-on-long-covid\/","title":{"rendered":"Online event by RKI, ZB MED and SIS Pharmacy on Long COVID"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 24.11.2022, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rki.de\/DE\/Content\/InfAZ\/N\/Neuartiges_Coronavirus\/nCoV.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Robert Koch-Institute<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zbmed.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ZB MED &#8211; Information Centre for Life Sciences<\/a> (ZB MED) and the SIS Pharmacy jointly presented literature search tools and evidence maps for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rki.de\/DE\/Content\/InfAZ\/N\/Neuartiges_Coronavirus\/Long-COVID\/Inhalt-gesamt.html?nn=2386228\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Long COVID<\/a> to researchers and information specialists in an online event.<\/p>\n<p>Our colleague Hermann Kroll, from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifis.cs.tu-bs.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Institute for Information Systems<\/a>, presented search options in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.narrative.pubpharm.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Narrative Service<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.narrative.pubpharm.de\/drug_overview\/?drug=Metformin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Drug Overviews<\/a>. In close cooperation with the Robert Koch-Institute and the ZB MED, the content and functionality of these two services were adapted for COVID-19 and Long COVID queries (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rki.de\/DE\/Content\/InfAZ\/N\/Neuartiges_Coronavirus\/Long-COVID\/Literaturrecherche.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">more information about the cooperation project<\/a>). The Narrative Service generates, e.g., <a href=\"http:\/\/www.narrative.pubpharm.de\/?query=Drug+treats+%22post-acute+COVID-19+syndrome%22_AND_Disease+associated+post-acute&amp;data_source=PubMed&amp;visualization=outer_ranking_substitution&amp;sort_frequency_desc=True&amp;sort_year_desc=True&amp;start_pos=0\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">structured literature overviews<\/a> on active substances as well as symptoms and diseases associated with Long COVID.
