In a narrative, arguments are interconnected and arranged as a stringent argumentation structure. It&#8217;s hard to handle such argumentation structures for computer systems. That&#8217;s why the Institute for Informationsystems (IfIS) has developed a conceptual model to represent narratives in a formal manner, handable for computer systems. A first service based on this model is currently under development.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, our colleague <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifis.cs.tu-bs.de\/staff\/hermann-kroll\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hermann Kroll<\/a> from the Institute for Information Systems presented his <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/chapter\/10.1007\/978-3-030-62522-1_18\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">current research activities<\/a> at the <sup>39th<\/sup> <a href=\"https:\/\/er2020.big.tuwien.ac.at\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">International Conference on Conceptual Modeling (ER)<\/a>. This took place virtually from November 3<sup>rd<\/sup> to 6<sup>th\u00a0 <\/sup>2020.
